Absolutely loved this, anyone else watch?

Yes we did. I'd never read the book or seen the play, but Mrs O thought she might have seen the play in London many years ago, and Master O did it for his school exams. Mrs O said it was one of JB Priestley's "Time Travel" books and that he was a Socialist politically.

It was very well done - we're huge fans of Ken Stott as an actor, and David Thewlis's performance was mesmerising. Well recommended!

I knew the story and had also seen the old Alastair Sim version, but I thought this was excellent. In fact we never moved for the whole time.

Will be watching on iplayer :) I've read the book (I love J B Priestley and think I've read most of his) and seen the film, but this version does look very good 8-)
