Each to their own of course, but I personally would much rather come on the laptop to read/browse here....phone screen is much too small, you seem to be forever scrolling up and down or across....and then my 3G isn't very fast.

I've tried Tapatalk but quite honestly I'm not keen. I'd rather read Twitter or FB on my phone, small 'bits' to read, easy to navigate....

Maybe that's just me

No not just you Gal, I prefer my laptop too ;)

I showed Mick the link, he's perfectly happy to have a proper look at it tomorrow, and install if it's possible for those who do want to use it :)

Mmm, but not all of us have a laptop.

I'm often more comfortable sitting on the sofa with the kindle, rather than at the pc.
Saundra has a kindle, her pc is upstairs, much nicer to be able to be in touch when and where you want, surely :)

I wouldn't choose to use a phone but then for people I know who are stuck in hospital it's a lifeline.

Yes, totally personal preference of course Di, so if we install it there's the choice ;) 8-) Hopefully it will be simple, and then bob's your uncle

But then not everyone has a kindle Di....I got rid of my desktop when I got this lappie, had it nearly 5 years now. Wouldn't want anything smaller - for me - I like a bigger screen and a proper keyboard ;)

I rarely use my laptop now - only for work related things and for the girls to do homework on. It spends most of its time turned off in the drawer.

Some sites are easier to navigate on the laptop I'll admit - this being one of them. And I will be getting it out tonight to look at holiday cottages as that site is better on the laptop than the ipad.

But other than that I much prefer my ipad.

No Gal, not everyone has a kindle,or other kind of tablet. Or smartphone.
But for those of us who do, an app would make life easier.
You seem to be saying that you don't want or need the app, which is fine, but it won't affect you, will it?

So, at risk of repeating myself ;) if we can install it we will, if it can't be done we won't

Then people can please themselves, simples :) ;)

The site will have to be off for a while, whilst it's done, but we'll give warning x
