Booked ourselves a treat

Well, we deserve it We have booked a two night break in this hotel http://www.hastingshotels.com/slieve-do ... t-and-spa/ going next Tuesday till Thursday. It is in Northern Ireland at the foot of the Mourne Mountains and the scenery is stunning. Mr Osc worked there many many many years ago when he was a hotel management trainee, and we have been to Newcastle (where it is) a couple of times since to see golf. The deposit refunds from our American hotel cancellations should more or less cover it. Best of all there is an afternoon dance in the town on a Thursday - friends of ours go to it and are always asking us to go up, so what more could you ask .... nice hotel, lovely scenery, hopefully good food, great walking in the area and a dance to finish it off
