Thanks hun - I went in with him, and just as well!! Talk about an ostrich!! The GP wasn't one we've seen before but she did a few little checks and ultimately he has to have a chest xray and a spirometry test, in the meanwhile she has given him a course of steroids and an inhaler, which he is most put out about - he actually asked her if he could just have the steroids!! He is like a child :roll: :shock: :?

So it looks as though he may have early stage COPD....the xray and tests will determine this :(

Oh dear :( I must admit something like that did cross my mind - what with him having been a miner :( ((((x))))

It's the fact the condition keeps recurring year on year, each time worse than before....winter is never as bad oddly enough.
