I can't help it - I have to ask...

Have you moved from Birmingham? Have I missed something?

Yes, Gal, we have! We moved in September to Gillingham, which is in the Blackmore Vale, North Dorset.

I was "off air" at that time, not posting for well over a couple of months, firstly because we were infected by a rather pernicious malware virus last July which proved very difficult to eradicate, and then BT completely mucked up our order for broadband services down here, so we were without the internet until mid-October.... So I didn't really post much about moving house .....

We're about 4 miles from the Somerset border, Saundra! And also less than 10 miles from Wiltshire ...... our nearest "big town" is Salisbury.

Just us, Gal.

Master O is now in London living with his g/f, and working for the NHS. He was desperate to get out of IT.

Mrs O's sister is only about 15 miles away, and we still have some friends in the area from when we used to live and work over the other side of Yeovil.

We've got a 2 bedroom bungalow, a short (and flat!) walk from the town centre, and next to the River Stour. It's very quiet, very laid back and we're enjoying it very much, but we've got a fair bit of refurbishment to do on the property - that's 2017's task! :)
