Good afternoon all.

We've been our Sunday morning walk into town, and bought a few odds and ends.
It's rather cold here, but dry and fine for walking.

Will be watching the Snooker Final this afternoon.

Have a nice day everyone.

That's all the weeding done in the veggie garden :Hi: :Hi: :Hi:

Jump into the shower, do the prep for dinner and then sit outside, before it gets cold again 8-)

We've settled down for a lazy afternoon. While we were downstairs we were talking and I told John how I'd been enjoying rewatching old BBT episodes so the plan for this afternoon was that more would be watched. However, we found Joe in the living room watching Southampton v Leicester, and I think it's Arsenal v Burnley up next...John's now asleep

I did the Tesco shop and got daffodils :Hi:
The poinsettia is still going btw, albeit sparser than it was :)
Oh and in Superdrug a big tub of Celebrations for £1.50 sort of leapt in front of me demanding to be bought :D

Also did my good deed for the day, an elderly lady asked if she could take her (tiny, elderly) dog in to Superdrug, and they said no - why?!
She said she could carry her, but no. There was nowhere near enough to tie her either.
So I stayed outside with the sweet little doggie whilst her owner went in and bought her Sanatogen :)

Bb has so far chosen the cricket over snooker, but then there's an evening session of snooker yet. I don't mind, I don't think there's anything else on :)

I bought some pretty tulips from Aldi on Thursday Di - they look gorgeous and really brighten the place up!

Finally the sun has been out today!! It's been so dark and grey all week - and freezing - that despite the still freezing, the sun and blue sky made a big difference!

We both got a lie-in today and then went to watch Lewis's Under 8s play football. It's usually a Saturday so I don't get chance to go, but today and two weeks ago, they had two matches, one on both days. They drew 3-3 today, and after the match the coach came over and told us that there'd been a scout from Newcastle there asking all about Lewis, so we are very chuffed!! Tom says he has a lot to learn in regard to using his left foot more but I'm sure they look for potential talent that they can nurture - very exciting! Tom's a bit ambivalent as he is a Mackem (Sunderland fan, very anti Newcastle) but hey ho!

Then he and I went off for a pub lunch - what a lovely change!

Hope everyone is ok xx

Just chilling now before the telly starts - have a good day all, what's left of it! xxxx
