I agree Jo, I've had loads of stuff from Ikea and it's been perfect. Back in 1999 when a friend and I rented a flat together I bought a chest of drawers from Ikea and she bought one from Argos. I gave mine to my neighbour last year and it's still going strong - 18 years now. Anne's on the other hand was in pieces when we moved out the flat two years later.

And I still have a Billy bookcase that is in perfect condition - now 17 years old, bought when I moved into my first own flat.

Same goes for the Ikea kitchens Ria. We had one in our old house which John and I built and fitted when we had the kitchen extended and after nearly six years (when we moved) it was still as good as new.

Tom's got two almost ceiling height Billy bookcases in his room. He only wants one, the other was from Joe's room, but there's no way I'm getting rid of it so it's screwed to the wall and the identical one so it's going nowhere :P Tom's room is the only place that it'll go in the house due to matching the furniture.
