Woke up to bright sunshine and then suddenly it went dark and we had heavy rain, thunder and lightening
The sun's out in full again now, fingers crossed it stays that way for the rest of the day.We had a lovely walk down to the harbour yesterday, stopped for lunch and then popped into Sorbetto for ice cream........well it would have been rude not to
Didn't get back home until after 4, but the garden centre's just round the corner and stays open until 6 so off we went again, this time in the car so we could get some plants for the front. While we were there we noticed they had a 20% off bank hol deal on garden furniture. We've ordered a 4 seater cube which includes 4 stools so actually seats 8, handy for when we have the boys. Also comes with a 300cm tilt & crank parasol. It's a bit dearer than your site Lissie, but we decided it was worth being able try it out to be sure it would be comfortable, more and more important these days. It's due to be delivered on Wednesday. It will fit nicely on our patio and should be easy to maintain as it comes with a cover so can all be left outside all year round. No plans for today, washing's on the go and really need to have a good whizz round the bungalow. If the weather stays like this we'll get the front planted later this afternoon.
