We have the car back

Postby JanB » 07 Jun 2017, 12:45

:Hi: :Hi: :Hi: :Hi: :Hi:

But rather a large bill to go with it

But we have a new radiator, head gasket has been skimmed and whatever else they did, the did the oil change and changed all the belts, decarbonised whatever, new oil pump, new thermostat, new spark plugs, new oil filter and heaven knows what else. Oh yes, new anti/freeze.

Don-t think we-ll be going out for a while

ouch - that hurts!

but hopefully having all that done will mean another good number of years out of the car; it's a solid vehicle otherwise

Lot of money, but if it translates into a reliable car for the next few years or so, must be well spent ......

It should last several years without any major problems.
Our car is now seven years old and we hope we will not have any major repairs.
Have it serviced every year which costs about 160. 00 pounds including MOT and VAT.
