Still hot.

I've had a very quick run this morning and am now showered and ready for work. Waiting for my coffee slave to do his duty.

Finish at 1pm and Boss Lady is taking me out for lunch as a thank you.

David popping over later as we need to divvy up who's taking what in whose rucksack.

Trust me on TV tonight...can't believe that's come round again so quickly!!

Morning Ally and everyone

Thick fog this morning but it's clearing up now and so another hot day.

I was planning on taking Grumpy to the doctor's later, but he said he feels a lot better this morning - I think the 40C+ heat over the last few days, plus the smoke we've been having has taken it's toll. The temperatures are coming down from Thursday, so we'll leave it until then.

Going into Ourique later anyway, to pay for the gas delivered yesterday. Hugo didn't have his card machine and I didn't have enough cash

Then onto Pingo, might as well get that out of the way a day earlier.

Well can't say it's hot here... admittedly not cold either but still. Given it's August we really haven't had much sunshine here at all this year

A usual / usual for me again today. Last night I met up with a FB friend; someone I'd never met in real life though. She's involved with a small local cat rescue and that's how we got in touch originally. Turned out she lives about 10mins walk from me so last night we finally met up in person - what a lovely lady and as a result a lovely evening.

It's a bit cloudy here, but a dry day is forecast. D is away again for a couple of days, with friends, so I might pop up there and do some of the weeding she was struggling to finish. Her garden is beautiful but the upkeep is never ending No zumba as I went last night

I walked Billy early so that I could be back in time to make sure that Joe was up for his driving lesson. The washing machine's now on. Tom's back later today so no doubt there'll be another load then.

Good morning all.

It's cloudy and damp-looking here this morning. Not very inviting.

We are going into town soon as Mrs A has an appointment at the opticians.
I'm due for a visit there soon, but I don't know what I shall require, as I now
find that I can see long vision quite well without glasses, and for reading find
that I can manage better with a pair of magnifying glasses that I bought from
Boots the chemists for less than £10. Still, I suppose it's wise to have things
checked up by an optician.

Morning all, fairly dreary here too - Mr Osc is heading off to the golf club but I suspect the golf may be rained off. No specific plan for the day, I'll get some stuff organised for the weekend, we are going to Cork for some dancing. We'll stay with my brother, some friends are coming too and they have booked a b&b nearby, so it should be fun.

ETA Mr Osc went out to get the bus and has just come back saying he is cancelling as it is raining now

Not sure what we're doing today, still very sore so nothing energetic that's for sure, still recuperating after Dover Castle. Didn't check what's on at the cinema, will take a look later. The Meercat movie BOGOF can be used Tues and Wed so if anything takes our fancy we could always go tomorrow.
