Oh yes, I remember that now Jo!

Currently sitting in the bank foyer, waiting to be seen  Girl at the counter couldn't do it herself, I have to see whoever deals with such things, but she has appointments, and did I want to make one and come back?   Not flipping likely, I'm waiting and getting it done now!

What a nuisance! You'd think it could be done in a couple of minutes at the counter wouldn't you!

Our local one has installed a wall full of fancy self service machines, obviously so that they don't need more than one counter open, but now they've cut the opening hours

I had to pay a cheque in last week, I'm so easily impressed - I went to the self service machine and paid it in there and on the receipt was a small scan picture of the cheque!!

Jo, Nat West (I have a small acc with them for my earnings, to keep them separate for the tax people) have been doing the paying in photos for years! So much easier ;)

It can get annoying, can't it Saundra!

Well in the end a very nice lady sorted it all out for me, changed my address, ordered me a new card, and was generally very helpful. Oh, but she did try to "sell" me other services ie "Mrs Jones, you have a very good credit rating, and could borrow up to blah blah thousand pounds at ONLY blah blah APR!" No thanks!!!!!!!!!

Trouble is, if someone phoned me saying they were from the bank, my first thought would be, I bet you're not :?
