Have you seen that Ryanair are changing their hand luggage policy from November 1st Osc?

We only found out when Don booked us flights to go to the UK early December.

I saw that and actually do quite agree with the policy. The overhead cabins just aren't big enough for so many people to have their wheely cases as hand luggage. The number of times flights are delayed because cabin crew is frantically trying to stow stuff away. Or when you land, people trying to walk against the flow of people leaving the plane because their suitcase is in a locker in the back of the plane, they are in the front, and not willing to wait until people are off, so they'd rather clamber all over everyone

So yes, I actually don't mind them doing this

I don't mind either Ria...we've decided to just take a rucksack each when we go over. I'll put my handbag in it and take it out once I'm on board.

I always use one of my bigger handbags, as hand luggage. Mick has a canvas and leather shoulder bag that I got him years ago, from Osprey

No problem with Ryanair's policy whatsoever. Ria's basically summed up my feelings
