Morning all.....well almost

It was blowing a gale last night, expected to wake up and find a mess everywhere, but things seem to have stayed in place. E has some bungy cords round the garden furniture cover which seems to be working well, no need to rush out and flash to the neighbours ;)

E said the chair was really easy to push, I found it a bit strange to begin with, but it was lovely to get out again. As for the trolley in Tesco, well I quite enjoyed it, but E's face was picture. Think he thought I was about to tip it over going round corners, apparently he felt I needed to slow down a bit, honestly a snail could go faster   Must say it's nice to know we can now go out whenever we like, weather permitting.

No plans for today, intend to be extreeemely lazy.

Have a good day :D

So glad you can get out and about Jen xx

Bb is refusing responsibility on the grounds that his name is spelt with a y

Bonus in Tesco, their chocolate and vanilla cheesecake is on offer, only £2, so we have cake for today, tomorrow and Sunday :D

Di, is that the one with caramel too? John wanted that last week but I refused to buy it because I'm challenging myself to see how long I can go without eating chocolate (5 weeks and 1 day so far) and got the lemon one instead. Went to see my parents later and out of the kitchen came Dad with a slice of Tesco chocolate, vanilla and caramel cheesecake each
I managed to remove all chocolatey bits and they ended up on John's plate

I saw the raspberry one but John turned his nose up at that   They're good value when on offer though.

Good afternoon everybody,
Just getting up when Ally first posted. Went to give a blood sample. The health centre only opens at 8.00 a.m bu there is only a smallcar park.
Also I had to fast so I sat in the car until other people started to come and form a queue. Booked the appointment several weeks ago. There is one closer but it does not operate an appointment system. If you want to be first in the queue you have to be there by 6.30 a.m and stand outside. Not nice if it is cold and raining.
Di, we had the carrot cake from Tesco. It was part of the deal where you got a starter, main course and desert and wine for £6.00. Haven't seen it since.
It was delicious.
JoM, I have been on a strict diet for three weeks which has meant no chocolate. Trying to get my blood sugar readings down. Will have some tonight as I have had blood sample taken this morning.
It rained heavily this morning while I was sat in the car but it has stopped and the sun is trying to come out.

Good afternoon! It's a lovely day here in Boston, beautiful sunshine but it gets nippy as soon as the sun goes down. Yesterday we went into town and pottered around an area we loved when we were here before, had a nice lunch in Quincy Market which is full of fantastic food outlets. When we got back to L's house (she works from home) she was finished for the day so we went to Wilson Farms for her to do some shopping. It's a farm shop but really big with the most amazing range of fruit, veg and other food plus gifty type stuff as well. Bought a few Halloween bits and pieces for Michael and Kellie. L is very much an early to bed, early to rise person and I've been sleeping really well since we got here. She and I have been friends since we were 7 :o so just over 60 years!

She has gone out to do a few errands and when she comes back, we will all be going out and about - she always brings us to lovely places. Mr Osc and I were astonished to realise that he had not been here since 1998 and I was last here in 1999 - not sure where those years have gone.
