Sad to read...

...David Cassidy has passed away. :( :(

A big part of my early teenage years was spent warbling along to his songs....he was so cute too.

RIP

Just seen it on the tv. Very sad and like you Ally, grew up with his singing.

And Rodney Bewes yesterday - loved the likely Lads :D :D

It's very sad :( I had loads of his records and posters. I was even at the Wembley concert where they turned water cannons on the crowd as the fans were so hysterical! I went with my friend April. RIP David :(

Very sad to hear about Rodney Bewes too. I recently caught an old episode of Whatever Happened To The Likely Lads on telly, it was still really funny. Such a shame he and James Bolam fell out so badly, and never made up :( xx

My wife had a big crush on David Cassidy as a teenager. RIP. And Rodney Bewes, always came over as a nice man.

It's very sad news :( I knew of him more through my older cousins who adored him.

So sad to hear about Rodney Bewes too, I agree that he always came across as being a lovely chap.

David Cassidy had had a difficult life I think. I was never a fan maybe just a bit too young but I can look at him and completely understand why so many adored him, he was lovely. I do like his music though and have a couple on my iPad, Could it be Forever being one

The Likely Lads I loved. Still my favourite from the 70's. I was reading yesterday about the fall out between James Bolam and Rodney Bewes and it was James Bolams doing and pretty pathetic He even refused to go to Rodney Bewes This Is Your Life
