All that rushing and the lady who takes yoga broke down on the way!
Some stayed to do what they could, I came home after a coffee to change then went to the hospital where I had to wait an hour and a half

Still, then went into the village, posted foreign cards, bought stamps and essential shopping.

Greetings all

a very grey, wet and meh day in London; it can't decide if it want's to rain or snow, so does one of them, then nothing, then a bit of both; but it's too wet so the snow isn't settling; just as well as it would be a nightmare getting home.

Having a fab day so far then off to dinner at Karl and Nadine's. I've got the day off tomorrow... Nadine and I were meant to have a 1/2 spa day but the spa called to say the pool was broken and would we still like to come or rather reschedule. So now rescheduled for January which will be nice and something to look forward to. So instead of a busy morning tomorrow, I can have a lovely lie in, and then meet up with Nadine and her cousins for a lovely cosy pub lunch somewhere and then do a few things at home... so me thinks a perfect day ahead

Hope everyone else stays warm, dry and safe and hope Ally's flight was OK.

Lest anyone think we're being deprived, there's still no snow down here in the Vale, but we drove "up the Rock" - Shaftesbury - this morning, and they had at least 1/2 a centimetre lying on the ground  , and a minor blizzard sweeping across the deserted town centre. Visited Tescos, the bank, WH Smiths, and Superdrug whilst we were there, had a coffee in The Ugly Duckling café, and Ossie bought a hot bacon and egg baguette wrapped in tinfoil to take home for his lunch. :D

Finally visited Waitrose, back in our town, for the daily shop. It's a strange store. You can buy plenty of things like ummanu chukka with miso (what the heck is miso?), but can you get a bag of frozen carrots? I think I might be visiting Iceland before Christmas .....

Hope everyone's keeping warm and all travelling is going to plan ...
