David Walliams at his best.

Anyone watch "Grandpa`s great escape" on TV last night?
I thought it was wonderful.
What a great author David Walliams is. It alternated between pathos
and laughter.
I must admit to crying at parts of it and i noticed that Don was blowing
his nose and dabbing his eyes too.
Jennifer Saunders was brilliant as too was Tom Courtney.
Best of the Xmas programs.

We did see it, and fully agree about the mix of pathos and comedy, but we're not really Walliams fans, and it was a bit too OTT for us.

But that's just us, and I'm sure many others would have thoroughly enjoyed it. :D
