Have a great NYE!!! Whatever you are up to :)

I'm having a spell on here this aftie while Tom snoozes in recovery of having the kids since lunchtime yesterday! We adore the bones of them, but oh boy are they exhausting!! One at a time is fine, but we had them both four weeks ago (to sleep over) so now they both want to sleep every time!! Tom drew the short straw - they both wanted to sleep with him so at least I got a full nights' kip! We did snowman building yesterday (he's 'done a Snowman' now though, IE melted) and then went swimming this morning, and finally on to MacDonalds - John came for them at 1pm. Tom turned around from the front door and went straight to bed!!

Charlie seems to be ok - but Lordy be, he is a bugger for his medication!!! I'm really struggling to get it down - he knows when there are tablets in his food and eats around them, so I bought some liver pate but he also knows that means tablets, so he won't look at it. Takes us both to dose him....I hold him in a towel and Tom gets them in his mouth. The hardest one to give is a syringe as he has to have that into his cheek/gum.....yeah, impossible!! That one is 3x a day! At least the tablets are only twice.....bad enough! Got to take him back on 12th for a checkup but hopefully he will continue to improve. He's as bright as a button, eating well (when it isn't meds!) and playing....so fingers crossed!

Lovely sunny day here, if a tad on the windy side.

No plans for tonight, I suspect Tom will spend much of today sleeping.....Lily is a kicker and she was between Lewis and Tom in bed so they will both be bruised :|

Have a lovely day/evening whatever you are up to xxx

Happy New Year's Eve :D The weather was very pleasant so we got out for a walk early, as rain was forecast, and it is raining now. Had a nice chat on the phone with my brother. Doing very little for the rest of the day, must look up to see what is on tv tonight. It remains to be seen if we will be able to stay awake until midnight

Happy New Year to you all

Gal I am so glad Charlie is on the mend. I used to use Lix-e-lix to get the cats tablets down them. It is like a paste

There you go, got good reviews for tablet giving too

:D :D

He's settled now but he's behaving so hyper, I think it might be a side effect of the meds. And he's always hungry - he was even having a taste of the dogs' meals
