That is sad Di. I hope you have a lovely day out Ria!

Jan, enjoy the rain! Yoou could have some of ours. We took our daughter's dog for a walk yesterday and were stood out in the drizzle, throwing the ball for him and singing "Things, can only get wetter..." :Hi:

MrsC and I have been for lunch at a lovely Italian. I could get used to that! The lemon cheesecake was amazing.

I'm going to flop down on the settee now!

Have a good day everyone.

Not sure why my phone didn't ring, but realised I had a voice mail from the wait list peeps just after 4pm. All ops have been cancelled for next week and it was too late to speak to the chap who does the schedule. The person I did manage to talk to says they probably won't know for a week or so, but he did suggest I ring on Monday to check if they have any more info :(

Oh, and wood sorted. Rang Mitch, tried to get hold of his guy, no answer. Went to the bar, spoke to Odette and Jose rang later to say that Jorge will be here "sometime over the next few days!" with a load of lovely, dry wood.

But we went into Antonio's field earlier, before the rain, and gathered a load of estevas we cut down a couple of years ago. They really burn well, so they will hopefully keep the fires going :D :D

We reckon another 4-6 weeks of fires, before we're back to normal.
