Morning all, lovely sunny morning here but cold - but positvely balmy compared to what we are promised this coming week! Mr Osc is going to play golf later with SIL and Michael, also SIL's father who was a late addition. Then we are all meeting, including Miss Osc and Kellie (hopefully minus SIL's father ;) ) for something to eat in a local pub. Home then to watch DWTS Ireland and Call the Midwife.

Morning all :D

Lovely and sunny here, but very cold, well that's what E tells me and I'm very happy to take his word for it

How are you today Di, hope the pain has eased a bit xx

Good luck at the hospital Lissie.

A lazy day beckons, I'll be cooking roast chicken for dinner later, the usual jelly and blancmange is done and that's about it.

Have a good day :D

Afternoon, everyone!

I've had a busy day! Tom is at the farm this week, which essentially means he is awol all day (he's currently in bed sleeping, having been up since 5am and then at farm till 12.30 - he's going back up there in a while for an hour). Fingers crossed he will remember that he promised to only do this every other Sunday - not much fun spending a weekend day alone. But I did have a lie in, a lazy breakfast and then I got started! Drove near to Durham after my shower, to park up on the outskirts and walk in, along the riverbanks, as we did a week or two ago. My phone battery died so it stopped marking my step count which I'm sure would have been well above 10k today. I called into the O2 shop and she charged it up a bit for me, I went and had a latte in Costa, and then headed back to the car. Some lovely views as it's been a fab day, chilly but no wind and sunny.

Once home, I tackled the garden, pulling some dead growth from the shrubs, and 'hoovering' up some remaining leaves with my garden vac. Then to indoors - tidied round and polished, even cleaned some windows - but I couldn't hoover as He was sleeping (but I can hear him moving about now). By this point the only sit down I'd had was in Costa, so I stopped and made myself a coffee and a snack and sat down in the sunny conservatory to listen to Johnny Walker on Radio 2 8-) Now my nails are filed and repainted, and I'll be polishing upstairs shortly  Just call me a domestic goddess!!

Hope everyone is enjoying their Sundays xxx
