Jen, this is appalling! What a dreadful situation.

As well as contacting PALS I made an official complaint when we were having problems for Joe last year. PALS arranged the initial appointment that we'd not been able to get and I lodged the complaint and they were really on the ball. I had one contact, a lovely lady called Amanda, and she was fantastic. Not really sure what can be done in this situation though when there's a stand off ongoing but you should definitely make an official complaint.
