It's a really hot day here Saundra, I bet it will brighten up later. Daughter and baby are coming for dinner later. :)

Afternoon all, lovely day here. It's been a day that has evolved - yesterday, I hurt my back, have no idea how it happened, but it is still not good today, so that scuppered going to a dance this afternoon. Then I asked Mr Osc to help me sort out some of his stuff for the charity bag, which led on to a good look at what he wants to take away on our cruise in five weeks. That was followed by a trying on session for him, seeing what bow ties look best, what shirts and tie will go with his new jacket, and finally checking the trousers of one of his dress suits, they need to be taken up a little bit so now they are pinned and awaiting my needle and thread. Better to get this done now rather than a week before we go.

After that, we went for a nice walk, along the very busy sea front, and then back through the much quieter castle grounds. When we got back, Mr Osc got a message from Michael asking was he around for a bit of football on the school astro pitch. When Mr Osc messaged back asking what time, Michael replied that he would be available around 3.45 after the F1  So making the decision early not to go dancing has meant us having a very nice day.
