Good morning all, we're back
Got home yesterday evening about 6pm. We had a wonderful time, Cunard has ruined us for any other cruise line and we are already looking at next year. Everything was perfect, comfortable and relaxing, great food and dancing every night - sometimes during the day too! Our only complaint was that our window was dirty, there was an automatic washing system but what it needed was someone with a shammy, in fairness though you couldn't expect someone to lower themselves down
The QM2 has class and elegance, something we have not seen on Royal Caribbean. The proper ballroom had a super band including a young singer from Ireland who we got to know a little. The nightly show was first class, better than any we have seen. Afternoon tea was a delight.
All in all, we had a super time, back to normal now with all the unpacking to be faced - need to clear the spare room and make it ready as Michael and Kellie are coming to stay tomorrow. First load of washing went out last night, just about to put out another, hopefully this lovely weather will last!
Di, I thought of you yesterday morning when we were on deck in Southampton and saw the Isle of Wight ferry coming in.
