We eat a lot of garlic 8-)

Roasted whole with roast spuds, sauted on a lot of stuff, although I draw the line at eating it whole, raw, as a neighbour of ours insisted I should do, as she did, every morning  She ponged a little ;)

We also use a lot of garlic, both shredded raw and roasted, and we've actually got two tubs which I planted out last autumn with cloves from one bulb. They should be ripe for harvesting soon. With any luck, I'll have turned one bulb into twelve! :Hi:

I know it sounds daft but I cannot wait for next years' growing season. This year has been all about clearing the allotment and installing raised beds etc and growing what could still be grown, but I'm way behind. But next year my greenhouse will be used as it should be for lots of sowing from seed, and I can get things into the ground in time / when they should :Hi: :Hi: :Hi:

I know that I said I like to keep things simple, but all this potato salad talk got me thinking... so I have just made an old fashioned German Kartoffelsalat. It is more a meal than just a plain potato salad and has fried bacon and onions in a Dijon mustard sauce.

It's in the fridge ready for tea. :D
