Yes we've got the wet stuff as well - and I'm feeling cold!! House thermos says 20 but it feels a lot colder, I'm not enjoying it one bit - was looking forward to another lovely Sunday of reading on my lounger in the warm, sunny garden.....GRRRR

Got some nice news this morning - my friend Anne from Aqua has become a Grandma! :D Her daughter had her first baby, Isaac Thomas, very early yesterday morning - it was Anne's birthday on Friday and he only missed it by a whisker - but she says she'll forgive him as he's fabulous! She also sent me a photo - and he is indeed a little smasher. I was intending to pop out anyway so I got him a little suit from Next and a special card for Anne.

Hopefully we'll get back to a proper summer soon!!

Good afternoon everybody,
The rain has stopped for a few minutes but roads and pavements are still wet.
The grass is beginning to grow on the lawn as are the weeds.
Waited in yesterday morning. A landscape gardener should have come to relay some flags as we are having a new shed. Phoned him twice but he never replied. So will not have him.
Should have had a new security light fitted. One of the son's of my wife's cousin was going o do it on Saturday. Had a phone call on Thursday to say he was in hospital with a hernia. He is only 37.
Temperature in car was only showing 14 degres this morning when I went for the paper. Might have to get the winter woolys out!!
