Furniture arriving Friday :Hi: :Hi: :Hi:

We popped into the shop, before we got the cheques and their multibank machine was actually working, so paid for it that way, saved me having to buy the cheques

Utter devastation with the fire - there are now 17 aircraft as well as over 1200 bombeiros and army people there. Mainly because of the wind, which has picked up and also because that area is just a vast area of forest - and no or little access, so having to rely on aircraft and bulldozers, to find a way in. Expecting it to last for a while longer yet

It's a lot cooler today and the pump for the pool is playing up. Just rang Nelson, but he's on holiday  He'll be back Thursday, so will pop up then.

Steve coming up later :D to do what he has to do, so no tiling today.

For those on fb, I'll keep up-dating about the fires.

Talking about getting a drink for Billy Jo reminded me of when Craig, Lani and myself went to Gunthorpe reservoir with Ronnie Dog. :D

We stopped for lunch and Lani brought this out which Ronnie drank whilst we had our dark fruit ciders.

Great what they have now for pets. :D :D

Greetings all

I feel like summer is passing me by - sitting in the office. Yes the air con is at a pleasant temperature but I do quite like the warm weather and would much rather be home and in the garden than in the office :( Oh well

Kaz, sending tons of vibes for your friend and her daughter
Jan, the fires are terrifying and I really really hope and pray that the winds die down and that you have some rain very soon. The poor wildlife that inhabits that area just has no chance, does it    Those bombeiros of yours are true hero's - my hat off to all that are involved in fighting this

Hope you all enjoy the rest of the day xx

At least you have air con Ria. My friend at work brought a thermometer in and the temperature in our office yesterday was 92. It doesnt help that we share a small office with 5 people, so 5 computers and monitors, three printers and the server which belts out heat.
