Ossie, the headmaster at the high school when the lads were there was called Barrie Scott. He took a fair bit of stick I think for his name. He's now Reverend Scott, he gave up teaching and joined the church (it was probably either a choice of religion or drink having worked in Cannock). He's quite often on BBC WM when they need a religious comment.
