However, we phoned to say we would be late, and they were fine, plus the stitch removal went well and the surgeon is very pleased with how the wound is progressing. We came home by a different route 
Last night, we were both very tired and in bed by 10pm. However Murphy's Law kicked in and neither of us had a good night's sleep, and today we are bringing Michael and Kellie to their swimming class and then back here for their dinner. Going to try and have a nap now, then another early night tonight.
Having been awake for almost 12 hours, you'd think I could, but I won't. I'll struggle with masterchef tonight, might give the footie a miss.
