Good morning Friday

Postby Ally » 28 Dec 2018, 06:12

Good morning.

Another lovely day forecast. 8-)

A long yompette with my personal trainer awaits.

Then will happily spend the day at home - I bought a total of 12 books  in Nerja so will make a start on getting through them. :D

Usual Friday beers and tapas tonight.

Have a good day everyone.

Kaz...enjoy having your sister and her family visit you. xx

Morning all :)

Thanks Ally :D and that's your reading sorted for a while then :D :) xx

Just having some breakfast here, Becky has gone to work for an early shift and will be home by late afternoon. My sister and tribe will be here by lunchtime. I'm considering taking the tree down to make a bit more space in the living room :? It's not a small room, but there will be eight of us later, none of us skinny, and several well over 6ft tall

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning everyone

Misty start again, but quite warm.

Enjoy your visitors Kaz :D :D

I am determined to get that ironing done this morning, so that's me sorted. Everything takes twice as long at the moment, but I will finish it 8-)

I am feeling much better this morning, but Grumpy is still suffering. This cold is taking a long time to clear.

If the sun comes out to play, we'll crack on with the strimming this afternoon. Also need to go down to take some recycling and rubbish down, so will have a pit-stop in the bar too :D

Hope you don't get a cold Saundra xx Dose yourself up.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

I hope your cold isn't too bad Saundra. Gal's sounded awful. I'm all stuffed up in the head but much better than I was.
Not much on here today, MrsC to her father's place shortly.
It's a nice morning here, have a good day all.

Morning all, it is overcast but dry here. I was going to the gym, but my tummy is a bit dodgy, so I cancelled. I need to get back to normal eating, I'll start today. We had a nice time at the sales yesterday, Mr Osc got a lovely Ted Baker jacket, half price, and I got an evening dress that he picked out, it is one I would not have picked out myself because I would think it would make me look fat, but it looks really nice. Sadly it is less than fragrant in the underarm area so I will need to wash it before I wear it :( I have to prepare the spare room for our two little visitors staying tomorrow night, I have washing in the machine but thankfully no ironing to do. Going dancing tonight.

Morning all

Well the annual trek to the vet with three cats is over and done with. Mom has been with me for quite a few past Christmas's so she's been able to carry one of the carriers for me, but the past few years I've done it on my own - always a debate which cat to nab first to get into the carrier so the others don't get spooked :D

not sure what I'll be doing today - so much to do outside in the garden / greenhouse / allotment - but i'm just happy being inside and pootling. Struggling to find my va va voom esp as it's really dull and dreary out; warm(ish) but just very overcast and grey and meh.

Which means someone has obviously worn it for a night out and then returned it - makes me mad because it's a deliberate thing they're doing as the tag won't have been cut out. It's one of the reasons I always wash every item of clothing I buy; regardless of what it is.

Kaz, have a fab time with the family xxx

Have a lovely day everyone else and ongoing vibes for all those that are feeling under the weather; hope you all feel better very soon x

Morning all, it's dull here but mild.

John's gone a bike ride and I've just done some ironing. I'm now doing my nails while watching one of my favourite films, A League Of Their Own. I love anything with Tom Hanks in it though. Both lads are in work later and we've got some food shopping to do.

I came down with a cold on Christmas afternoon, it's not been too bad though, and then I managed to strain my hand carrying too many plates upstairs one handed on Boxing Day evening so I've not had much luck. We've had some lovely walks with Billy though and the fresh air has been nice. Shannon came on Boxing Day morning and stayed until yesterday afternoon, she's coming back on Sunday and then staying until New Years Day.

Kaz, I usually take the trees down around about now when I've got the house to myself as John and the lads are usually in Wales and there's no one to complain about them being taken down too early but it looks like they'll be up a bit longer this year

Have a good day all!

Morning all :)

Dull and over cast here.

Hope everyone with colds soon feel much better.

Surprise, surprise, we have two blue tits in the bird box on the fence at the end of our garden. Thought it was much too early, but one of them is definitely feeding the other.

We've had a lovely lie in. Plan to pop to M&S later, don't need much, but it will be nice to get out.

Hope you all have a good day :)

Good afternoon all. It's bright and sunny here. Not a bit like winter.

We are visiting relations this afternoon for our annual get-together. Looking forward to it.

Hope you are all having a lovely time.
