Noticed it was trying to snow when we went to bed last night, woke up to bright sunshine.

How annoying the dentist wasn't there Jan, hope your tooth can wait, toothache is horrid.
Wishing your SIL a good recovery Crommers, sounds like he's going to have a tough time for the next few weeks.
Saundra enjoy your day with Scarlet.
Sensible to stay in the warm if you don't feel 100% Kaz.

Podiatry appointment at 1.30 today. I've been managing to wear the insole she gave me most of the day so I expect she will adjust it this time round. Afterwards we'll have lunch at our local Toby carvery. They're offering 2 meals for £10 at the moment, a deal too good to miss.

Good afternoon.

I have been over to my little old lady who I do volunteer work with and got a pleasant surprise.

Her daughter is over from France with her French husband and all we have done is chat, drink coffee, and eat nibbles - sweet ones! They are using her house as a base so that they can visit most of the rest of the family. In return they have brought over some French foodstuffs and are cooking meals the French way.

Nothing much planned for the rest of the day.
