Talk about April showers

Still can't get a look at Molly's leg, but she's eating, sleeping and it doesn't appear to bother her, so will just wait and see. We have a new vet in Ourique, who sounds really good, so that saves a trip to either Castro Verde, Almondover or Beja.

I missed this; what's wrong with Molly?

Think she's been bitten by something on one of her front legs. There's a patch where she's chewed off the fur. She's not one for being held, so trying to have a look is rather difficult But she's not limping. Just want to have a look and make sure she's healing okay. The skin looked a little patchy yesterday.

Hammering it down again No tv though, the wind is too strong

Not sure the farmers will be happy, the rain is rather late this year and the sheep have already had their fleece off - apart from next door, they're still wearing last years

Just put the lump of pork in the oven, to warm though. Will plonk it on the table, still in the pan and we can just help ourselves along with steamed potatoes and veg.
