Afternoon all :D

Nice and bright here, will be lovely if it gets as hot as it did yesterday.

Have fun hat shopping Ria. I used to have a great collection back in the days when we regularly went to Ascot. After all you couldn't wear the same one every year, that was my excuse anyway

Blimey £150 is a lot Ossie, but I have to admit we'd be lost without our tv. Hope it works and your reception is brilliant.

Date night was never even thought of when ours were young

He's not sure how, but E's pulled his neck and it's really sore so an easy day beckons for us.

Have a good day :D

Afternoon all - not been to work this morning, I phoned in sick! Last time I did that was from hospital in July 2017......but it's nothing serious, just a bit of an upset tummy probably caused by eating too much fat yesterday - very full cheese and onion toastie at lunchtime and then fish and chips for a late tea.

I'd met up with Caroline yesterday, my friend from school, for lunch, we chatted for a couple of hours and then when I got back I decided it was time Charlie was wormed. Remember he's still wearing a plastic cone as his skin just below his ear is sore and he scratches the scab off which makes it bleed....etc etc. Not gone to the vets yet as I was hoping it would clear up but it's taking a while.....anyway, weighed him (he's 4.8kg) and gave him 1 and a half tablets as advised on the packet. Over the next few hours I thought we were going to lose him.....at first he was just quiet and a bit lethargic, but then he started wobbling everywhere as though he was drunk...with his cone on it was pitiful and I got really worried....he was still eating and wanted to be on my lap, so I went to bed still worried....then this morning he was absolutely fine!! Don't use Bob Martin worming tablets though.....I always buy Drontal from the vets and for some reason I haven't this time and he almost paid the price!!! Bless him.

It's raining now but has been dry all day so far, we've even had a bit of sunshine! :D

Going to have a soak in the bath later and read my book and then watch Ep 2 of Chernobyl, which I watched on my tablet in bed this morning. I've just popped out to Currys to see if I can get a cable so I can watch it on the main tv but apparently the only port on the tablet is a charging port and my tv doesn't have Bluetooth. Gah.

Enjoy the rest of Saturday!! xxx
