TV Licence

Postby cruiser2 » 27 Jun 2019, 17:46

Had letter this morning from the Customer Service Director at TV Licensing.
The two main sentences are: Free TV Licences , funded by the Government, for all pover 75s will come to an end in June 2020.

You will be covered until 31st May 2020. When your current licence expires, we'll send you another free over 75 licence, to cover you till then.

So it seems that the deceision has already been made unless you are on Pension Credit.
Yet MP can claim it as a refundable expense.

They've been pretty quick off the mark. Still, a lot can happen in the next 12 months or so ….

We pay a couple of euros a month, which is included in our lecky bill. And that's for everyone, no matter how old you are.
