The old remedies still work

I woke up this morning with a stye in the corner of my left eye. Blasted itchy too

I was rubbing away, thinking I'd have to wait until Wednesday to go to Ourique - we have to conserve fuel, because of the strike - when Grumpy suggested rubbing my wedding ring on it.

So I did, about 6 times during the day. Felt better, even after just one rub

Now gone

He was rather surprised, as he thought brass wouldn't work

That's an old saying and iv done it in the past it does work
