What a day

Postby cruiser2 » 14 Aug 2019, 17:58

Up early as I was taking the car in for a service. Came home by bus. Just after 9.00 a.m, got aphone call from the garage. It was not good news.
The garage owner said the car need several new parts. None of them have been replaced since we bought the car in 2012. S we said fir the new ones.
Then went on the computer to order new inks.
While we were having a coffee got a phone call from a friend who is a dress maker. She was altering some trousers and a dress for mrs.e. She said she was having a problem with the top of the dress. As we did not have our car she came to our house. She spent about 15 minutes adjusting the top with pins
before taking it back to sew the alered seams.
She also took a pair of trousers which wanted shorteningg.
After lunch we caught the bus to go and collest the car. When we arived at the garage we were given a cup of coffee wile we waited for the reapirs to be finished.
On the way home we did a detour to collect a dress mrs.e had oordered from a small retail outlet. Then called at Aldi for some shopping arriving home at 5.00 p.m.
We hope we can relax tomorrow

You've had a busy day Cruiser. I hope the car service wasn't too dear.
