Good Morning Sunday

Postby JanB » 18 Aug 2019, 02:53

Morning everyone

Rather dark outside   but with a brilliantly lit sky, lots of stars and a full moon. Bit of a breeze, but not cold.

Up this early as Grumpy heard a dog barking, so he woke me up to complain :? :cute: It's not barked since then   But I can hear music and a bass somewhere not too far away

Just had my breakfast - leftover dauphinoise potatoes, lovely  - but will be heading back to bed soon.

We have plans to start filling up the new store room this morning, spare chairs, the two bbq's we're not using at the moment and the exercise bike, which he's used about twice  Also want to take some cutting off the spikey plants. Shove 'em in water for a couple of months and then plant them when we've had some rain.

Dinner will be cooked on the hot plate again later.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

The grey clouds are slowly going and it will be a lovely, sunny and not too hot day 8-) Brisk breeze still

Watered all the baby plants, Grumpy still asleep. I nodded off, only to be woken by Molly at 5.15, wanting to go out

The hunters are out and about, can hear the guns. That's the Sunday and Thursday wake up calls until February

Hoppe those on their hollibobs are having a great time 8-)

Yes Saundra, there's a beach about 200 yatds from the cottage. We're in Sandsend 2 miles up the coast from Whitby.
A lovely morning here (it was supposed to be cloudy). In a while we'll go and get something for tea and visit a little cafe in Runswick Bay that does tremendous home made cakes.
Have a great day everyone.

Good morning all, it's gone quite grey here since I put the washing in the machine

Billy had an early walk and then I was back to see Joe before he left for work. He'd had a late night out with friends and got home around 3 (no hangover as he was driving) so I made him beans on toast with a huge coffee to follow  Tom was out too but he's still sleeping. They were both in the same club but Joe left before him and said that he heard Tom come home at around 4. Tom had been out with people from McDonalds.

Not sure if we're doing anything this afternoon.

Crommers, that sounds lovely!

Have a good day all!

Morning all :D

Raining here

Sounds lovely Crommers, enjoy your break.

We had a lovely time with the boys yesterday, Zachery is absolutely thrilled with his room make over, he particularly likes his new gaming chair 8-) Managed the drive better than expected, the stairs weren't too big a problem either :D

Not really surprised, woke up a bit sore this morning so planning a lazy day. Roast pork and veg for dinner, choc blancmange and orange jelly for pud.

Have a good day :D

Afternoon all, the weather is a bit changeable here, when the sun is out it is nice and warm, but there have been a few spits of rain too. I have washing on the line as there is a decent breeze. We’ve been for a nice long ramble and Edward will spend the afternoon watching sport while I knit or read. Crommers, I like the sound of that cafe!! Miss Osc and family are due back today from their month in Wicklow, I’m sure we will see them during the week.
