What's for dinner Monday...

Postby Ally » 26 Aug 2019, 19:13

....ours will be quick and easy. Pad Thai noodles.

I have worked like a Trojan today. Whilst Estefanìa got on with painting the boys rooms I tackled the office. Blitzed it, added some new cushions that I bought this morning, moved my desk and chair around, put a couple of new pictures up and voila! It looks great.

Whilst buying the cushions this morning I fell in love with a three and four seater sofa. So bye bye chocolate brown leather sofas and hello to red!

Which means all new accessories in the lounge.

It's just gone 9, I've had a shower and waiting for my grub. :D :D

Well, I am listening to the sound of water filling the new tanks in the attic, which means we will soon be able to flush the toilets and hopefully have showers in the morning. But now the ballcock is broken (it happens, apparently) which means that once the tanks are full we will have to turn off the water again, but will be able to use our water carefully until he comes back with a new one tomorrow. Next is the installation of the new window and the ceiling in the bathroom - why do all these things take longer than originally thought

For dinner we had fried ham with eggs and baby potatoes, it has left me with greasy stuff I will have to leave until the morning, I think.

I made a Greek salad, Mick had salmon with his as well.

Ally, that all sounds fab! :Hi:

Osc, our bathroom is still not completely finished - waiting for the new loo, and window blind - so I know exactly what you mean   xx
