Morning Jan.
A bit cloudy this morning and there are spots of rain in the air.
Roast beef for dinner which will be a quiet one.
We had a good night out last night with old friends. MrsC hasn't laughed so much for ages. It was in a local pub that is dog friendly, so they could take Stanley, their pointer.
Watching the MotoGP later. Oh, and daughter says I'm banned from their house! (She's only joking!). Twenty seconds after I walked in, Derby County equalised against Leeds in the last two minutes. Then I broke an armrest on one of their garden chairs and then I woke the baby up!
I'm sure she'll let me back in eventually. :)

Have a good day all.

Morning all :)

Hope the sun comes out, Jan :)

Crommers, I didn't have you pegged for a football hooligan :cute: ;)

Rain here too Cruiser

Currently in Corretto's watching the rain! Need to pop to B&Q to pick up some soil for D, for her winter planting, and drop it off to her. Then a quick trip to Sainsbury's on the way home for some sausages - it feels like a bangers and mash sort of day 8-)

Have a great day everyone :) xx

Morning all, there was some heavy rain overnight here in Southampton, I woke at some stage to hear it pounding down, I did sleep quite well though. We both woke at around 7am and went for an early breakfast so Edward could watch Ireland's first match in the rugby World Cup - he watched, I went back to bed  Our taxi is booked for 12.00. So you probably won’t hear from me until Thursday unless I take up our free WiFi entitlement on board (I might ;) ).

Morning all :D

Bright and dry at the moment, think rain's forecast for later.

We're both exhausted after yesterday. It took most of the day, did the front before lunch and the back in the afternoon. It was a big job, gutterings, soffits, windows, driveway and the patio. Oh and I cleaned my car too. We were absolutely filthy by the time we finished, amazing how much grit/dirt the Karcher kicks up. Worth it, everything looks nice and clean now. Just as well it's jacket potato and omelette for Saturday dinner, wouldn't have had the energy for much else.

We loved Strictly last night, Saturdays are back :D :D :D The standard for an opening show was amazing, think this will be a brilliant series.

Absolutely nothing planned for today, we're both in need of a good rest  Roast pork and veggies for dinner later, strawberry blancmange with blackcurrant jelly for pud.

Have a good day :D
