You really couldn't make it up

Ria will probably understand this, more than any-one else.

We went down to the bar this afternoon, as I needed to post a couple of birthday cards.

Maria Jose was serving and we had a little chat about what's happening locally - won't bore you with the details, you won't know the characters and then it's boring.

We sat inside, as it was rather warm outside and the fan was on - means Jose wasn't around

This bloke comes in, not seen him before, obviously a builder, working for Heldar locally. He brought back three bottles of empty beer bottles, asked for two to take away.

Now, to normal people, that means, the top stays on. Maria took the tops off

We were just about ready for another beer and said we'd have them ;)

She took two more bottles of beer out of the fridge and did the same again

Laugh a minute in our bar. And he very kindly paid for ours :Hi:

and did you kindly offer to drink these as well? :D :D :D (I hasten to add that the bottles there are not very big ones; so easy to neck three or four without any problems)

Poor Maria. She serves bottles 'tops off' so was in the zone. It's what she does day-in, day-out.

Would add that Shaun, eldest son, is taking us to Pingo tomorrow, he's almost drunk us out of beer - and were down at the bar too

Maria Jose peered out of the door at him and his wife, but Jose made a point of coming out to see us on his crutches, Odette just smiled a lot :D
