Postby Ally » 21 Nov 2019, 06:39

Good morning.

Forecast showers and sunshine same as yesterday...it showered for a couple of hours.

Usual morning classes, coffee and pitufo (ham and cheese today) with my friend then classes 4 - 7.

Meeting Don for a pre-weekend beer or three and will watch IACGMOOH on iplayer if I don't get home in time.

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Wet :Hi: :Hi: Rained for most of the night :Hi: and quite warm too 8-)

Undecided what to do a the moment. We'll have breakfast and if the rain starts again, we'll leave the shopping for another day.

Denny came up late yesterday and said we should have the curtains done by Christmas  :Hi: :Hi: And we agreed on a sliding mozzie net door for the far end. This can be moved right to the end of the terrace, if we decide on having the last bay done.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

What's wrong with M's knees Kaz?

Good morning all, it's grey and cold here.

Bill's had a long walk and now we're back for a day of waiting. I've got a new carpet cleaner coming from AO and there's also an Amazon delivery due.

We went to see Le Mans 66 last night. Wow! I've got no interest in car racing but it was more than that and really is an excellent film. It was quite strange though to watch a Hollywood blockbuster where two of the main characters had Birmingham accents  I bet there are loads of Americans wondering what a cheese cob is

Have a good day all - enjoy the showers Al!

Morning all, it’s dull and dreary here and is currently raining. I have ironing to do this morning, then will collect Kellie from school at 1.30pm. More knitting this evening, making some Christmas presents.

Morning all :D

Dull and overcast, but dry for the moment.

Could hardly watch IACGMOOH last night Ally, the eating trials make me feel decidedly queasy, no way in a million years could I do it

Jo we saw the trailers for Le Mans 66, it does look good. On an aside, Z did a tap duet with Christian Bale, they were dressed as skeletons, he was a really good dancer back then. Of course it was many years ago, not long after he went off to America to star in Empire of the Sun, the rest is history he stayed over there and became a movie star.

Seems only yesterday I was saying another Thursday has come round, where does the time go :o Off out to do the weekly shop, the last big one before we go away.

Have a good day :D

Afternoon all :)

Ally, it's definitely improving with the physio :D 8-) Jan, he has an extra, bony bit in one knee, causing issues with the tendons.

Jo, I'll bet they are! :?

I said the same to D, Jen, on our way to Sainsbury's

Osc I have ironing too, but think I'll leave it until tomorrow ;)

I'll bet she's growing up fast Saundra : D

The usual Thursday here, except we've booked a holiday!! :Hi: Our favourite Corfu hotel came up on Travelzoo, so we've booked a week away in May - something to look forward to all winter 8-)

Becky and her friend Holly are coming too, which will be nice. B intends to be near target weight by then so it gives her something to aim at, and she's asked her friend to avoid the dreaded single traveller supplement! They are paying their own way, I hasten to add! ;)

Good afternoon all. Yesterday was busy, we had Eliza. She was a bit grumpy, bless her.
Today MrsC has been to her dad's and I've done the shopping. It's been very chilly here and gloomy.
Never mind, the heating is on now and I think we are about to hole up for the rest of the day.
Stay warm everybody!
