Good Morning Saturday

Postby JanB » 25 Jan 2020, 08:15

Morning everyone

Foggy start to the day again  Might get some sun later. might also have a shower of rain or two. It rained all afternoon yesterday, so the washing didn't get done.

Grumpy will be out playing with wood again and I might just attack that last shelving in the pantry.

Depending on the weather this afternoon, we'll head down to the bar or we'll wrap up and sit in the new "room" with a beer or three.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning Jan. It's a win win; if you need the rain and get it, good. If you don't and you get the sun, good. :D
It's been a busy couple of days around here. On Thursday night a car was chased out of Wakefield by armed police and overturned on Heath Common. The driver ran off into the nearby gypsy camp. The police helicopter was out with a searchlight looking for him. I haven't found out what it was all about yet, which is annoying.
MrsC's uncle Jim has a dog called Oggie. In the past Oggie has bitten Jim a few times and his brother George (Jud) at least once. This week it has chewed up FiL's pension card and bitten Jud again, this time quite badly. "Ooooh" says MrsC's auntie Violet, "it took us ages to stop it bleeding". Jud was not amused.
The clay pigeon shooters have been at it again. Strangely they seem to start early and finish early.
MrsC and her sis are off to their dad's now. I need a paper but all the shopping has been done so that's ok.
Pasta and gin tonight. :)
Have a good day all.

Morning all :)

Enjoy the sunshine or showers Jan - sunshine wins for me every time ;) :D

Crommers, your extended family sound like real characters - including the dog! :? ;) xx

Up early here to get to FatFighters :cute: Not good news for me, better for Becks   We didn't stay for the meeting afterwards as we need to be at D's by 11ish, to take her to pick her car up from the body shop. Having a quick brunch at Corretto's now :)

Have a good Saturday everyone :) xxx

Afternoon all :D

It's dull and grey here

Gosh Crommers, I wouldn't be amused being bitten either, is the dog particularly nervous around people?
B is doing so well Kaz, you must be very proud of her.

We're still recovering from the journey on Thursday so having another nice easy day.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Not really Jen, it's just a nasty little thing!
