Good morning.

Warm & sunny again. 8-)

Off for a long walk then back to chill out. Perfect. :D :D

Resident chef has informed me it's chicken satay with peanut chilli sauce for dinner tonight. :cute:

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Beautiful spring like morning 8-)

Houseworkery morning for me and Grumpy will be putting together the bookcase he's made :D

We have planned to attacking the weeds on the veggie plot this afternoon. If we do it together, it will only take an hour or so.

Then, because it's so lovely, another bbq later. Chicken and mushroom skewers and I'll do some veg and steamed new potatoes to go with them. Have to take advantage of being able to have a bbq when we can.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning both :) We have sunshine too, so far ;)

It's the monthly meet-up of the old WW gang today. Meeting Em in town first. I have some shoes to pick up from M&S that I ordered last week and a tie each to buy for Mick and Harry - all for my cousin's wedding on Saturday. Zumba tonight.

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning all. Christine (MrsC) has gone to take her dad to his relatives. Then she is going up to help with Eliza. I may go through to the bank and get a mini-statement.
Sergio has done us some pasta for tea, bless him.
It is windy here but quite bright.
Have a good day all.

Morning everyone and happy Monday ;)

I think I say this every Monday but can't believe just how quickly the weekends always go by - madness. I can't believe it's already February; feels like only yesterday I was taking the Christmas decorations down.

Ally, that dinner sounds delicious - yum!
Kaz, hope you get all your bits done and enjoy the get together
Jan, totally agree - BBQ when you can; it just tastes so much better, doesn't it.
Crommers, how long will FIL be with the relatives - hopefully a good few days so Mrs C and her sister have a break? That is very kind of Sergio; nice neighbours are a god send, aren't they?

Well nothing exciting to report here - as said; had a lovely weekend and today will be a usual / usual. Hoping to get home and do cooking for the week lunches; fairly easy things really so shouldn't take much time.

Have a lovely day everyone x

It is just until tonight Ria. Yes, we are very lucky with our neighbours. we have all lived here a fair time now and we get on without living in each other's pockets. Sergio is a godsend indeed! :)

Morning all, it is overcast but bright here. Edward has set off walking to the golf club. I’ve made a couple of phone calls and will go to the gym for 11.30. My sister is calling in to me around 12.30 and then this afternoon, I’ll be bringing the car to a local service place - it started a rattle yesterday, we checked the boot and the spare wheel but nothing visible so it is obviously something underneath, rear passenger side.

Good morning all, it's quite bright and mild here. Thankfully it's dry too because I went to put my wellies on this morning when I was getting ready to walk Billy only to realise that they were still in the car....which was at that point on it's way to Lichfield.

The washing's on the line and I'm midway though cleaning around, and picking up after people  Bill had his walk first thing and the mornings are definitely getting lighter.

Have a good day all :)

This week's crisis at the relative's house. Last time it was the dog chewing up FiL's pension card, this week it is the Mystery of the Missing Rent Card.
Jud usually has it but can't find it and is accusing everyone else of losing it. Jimmy has been to the post office twice to try and pay the rent but they say he has to have the card.
The dog may have had it but my bet is that Jud has dropped it down his underpants or something.

Morning all :D

Nice and dry here, let's hope it lasts.

Blimey Crommers, it's one thing after another, can't help having a chuckle at the thought of it being in Jud's underpants. Glad I'm not the one who needs to investigate ;)

Not much happening today, we need more fruit and veg so will be driving to the small Tesco later.

Hope you all have a good day :D
