Good morning all, it's dull but mild here.

I did an early trip down to town as there were a few things I wanted to get for my parents. I was back home just after 9. I had a lift down from Tom, he's working at his and Joe's old primary school this week (the idea is that they see how pupils work before moving onto secondary school) so he dropped me off at the school gates  It's been almost 9 years since I was last at those gates yet feels like only 5 minutes. The teacher he's working with this week, Mrs Stokes, was his teacher in Reception, back in 2001/2002!! However, he also said that Miss Schofield is still working there....she was a teacher at my junior school in the late 70s
After his first day there yesterday he said that there's no way he'd ever want to teach primary kids, he said that they spend a good proportion of the day fidgeting and faffing

I was Facetiming with Amanda last night while Joe was getting himself a snack and a cuppa, it looks like she's coming home at the weekend.

Jen, which company have you booked with?

Happy Anniversary Osc!

Have a good day all :)

Good morning!

Happy Anniversary Osc - and thoughts for tomorrow.

Everything gradually shutting down round here. You know it's serious when they cancel the Annual Shaftesbury Gold Hill Cheese Run ….. :|

Flights BA, apartment through Airbnb Jo. Both have said we will get a full refund if Govt advice says only essential travel. I've just heard on the news that it's now worldwide. Just waiting for Foreign office confirmation, we should be okay.
