I don't mind admitting that I've had a wobble (or two) Saundra.

Gal, I think we're all a bit scared and uncertain - I know I am. It's great to have all you VVers to talk to, especially as we won't be seeing our other friends and family just now.

Group hug? ((((((((((((((VV))))))))))))))

It is a very uncertain time and I know many people are a bit scared. We have been told to expect lock down to continue to April 20. :(

I'm still a bit dazed by the effect it has had on things in our lives that one just took for granted before all this happened.

I should have been flying to dad's today.
We should have been flying back together tomorrow.
Tomorrow is my first Mother's Day without mum.
I had loads of lovely things planned with dad.
Don and I were going to Nerja for 3 days April 5th for our 30th wedding anniversary.
Michele and Mark were flying to Spain on April 6 for one week.
Dad and I were flying back to Glasgow on Sunday 19 April.
I was flying back to Spain 20 April.

All this is now shot into the water.

Add into the mix the sheer uncertainty of everything. Add into the mix my concern of when I'll get to dad's again.

I'm really missing the twins popping over. We speak on Whatsapp constantly but it's their big bear hugs I'm missing and their big beardy kisses. Human contact is needed more than ever right now, methinks.

We are lucky we have so much outside space because I know for a fact I would be going stir crazy if we didn't. I am really missing my running as I know for a fact I've relied on that alot to help with my mental well being since losing mum.

So Kaz, yes please. Let me be right in the middle of that VV group hug.

(((((((((Ally)))))))))) Being apart from family is the hardest thing, but like you I'm missing my exercise. Both my Zumba and Pilates teachers are talking about doing online classes, in some way, which would be brilliant!

A group hug is a sound idea. The situation is a bit like the tension you get before playing a game of football or rugby. But this time there is no game to take the tension away, it just stays with you.

Thanks for the comments folks, good to know I'm not being a wuss - or at least, we all are!! LOL

Group hug is most welcome Kaz….I feel for my sister (and all people living alone) as it must be tough not to have a person to chat with any time and snuggle into if you're feeling like a cuddle.....we also had many plans for the next few weeks, all gone as I think (hope) we will soon be on lockdown also.
