Sorry to hear about your uncle Crommers.

Oh the joy of Pingo. They've changed the system of getting in again, but dropped the ticket idea, although the notice is still up. Had to queue for about 15 minutes. Hardly any fresh veg, and lots of empty shelves.

Very very impressed with the chemist. Take you ticket, stand outside. You can see the number coming up. Inside, full face plastic face masks for the staff, gloves changed after every customer and the cleaner was spraying and cleaning the inside and outside of the perspex. Maybe a bit of an overkill, but there are still no cases in our area.

Still quite cloudy, but warm.

And next door must work at night. There are four large poles by the fence that weren't there yesterday

Went to Tesco this morning. Arrived at 8.30 a.m. Stood in the queue for a few minutes. Noticed two pensioners had come and stood at the other side of the entance so they would be the first in the queue when they only let pensioners in.
So mrs.e went and stood in that queue and I remained in the ordinary queue.
At 9.00 a.m we were both at the front of the queues and went in together. We kept waving at each other while we were waiting in the sunshine.

Have now got enough food apart from bread and milk to last us till next week. ave bben pottering since. Have bought two new mattress toppers. They were delivered on Monday.
Will have to wait for the dump to open to get rid of the old ones. Have put them in our cases as we nat not be using them this year.

Like Saundra we have got the letter from the PM. How many trees has that cost. Not said anything we didn't know.

Regarding football, If clubs , including some in the Premier League go under, I cannot see fans wanting to see the same teams have several matches in the space of two months as there are no other teams to play. The sports pages make interesting reading.
