Indeed, Saundra, it's come out very nice and warm here. We had a really lazy morning, I was surprisingly exhausted after yesterday evening's marathon £77 shop at the supermarket and woke up mentally listing all those things that I should have bought but forget in the heat of the moment. We've started a new list going ….

Had our usual walk down to the river and back after lunch. We found, on our stroll, that the clematis we planted last year has bloomed beautifully but unfortunately has gone through to the other side of the fence we planted it against, so all the dogwalkers on the path can see its white flowers but we can't!

Plenty of birdlife in the garden but only the usual suspects - robins, blackbirds, wood pigeons, rock doves and sparrows. The sparrows or the robins might be taking over the old blackbird nest in the thorn bush near our back door, but it's too dense to really see. We do have a number of bird feeders but have to be a bit careful as the droppings can attract Ratty …..

Talking of bird feeders …. :D

Sorry to read about Uncle Jud, Crommers, many condolences.
We also made new wills earlier this year; I know you can get Chartered Will Writers quite cheaply, but we went through a local firm of solicitors as we wanted advice on how to "protect" Master O's position should anything happen to his marriage. They were very efficient, there was just a single typo to correct on the drafts, and we went down to the solicitors office to sign and have them witnessed. They will store them for free in their vaults.

Have a good day everyone.
