Another interesting premise is Vitamin D, for immunity. There is a school of thought that as a lack of Vit D affects immunity, we should all be taking a supplement - indeed Public Health England said during the week that they are considering recommending it, particularly for people of BAME heritage, as our climate does not allow darker skin to obtain enough from sunlight.

I completely forgot about the BCG vaccine - it was on Lorraine's programme a week or two ago, she showed us the bump on her shoulder (I have one too as I had it at school) I doubt the kids will have had it though. Vitamin D supplements will run out pronto if they think that will help prevent getting the virus!

Ally in Spain lockdown has been much stricter than here - glad you can get out and about xxxx

Ally, would I be right in thinking that you could zig-zag about a bit in your 1km radius to knock up a decent walk / run? I mean if you go north for 1km then back past the house and out south for 1km and back: that's 4km. You are always withing the radius and zigging and zagging could easily make it 6 - 8km.

Interesting about your lockdown Jan. You could go for ages and not ever meet anyone and Portugal seems to have got on top of things rather well.

I have also got the TB 'bump' as I think most of us on VV will have. We had all sorts of stuff pumped into us at school but it was all worth it with the sugar lump (Polio) at the end of it. ;) :D :D

That's exactly what I'll do Frank. ;)

We have a pine forest behind the hills behind our house  plenty of zig zagging will be done.

So long as the zig-zagging isn't alcohol induced you'll be fine.   Mine usually is.
