Afternoon all :D

Big hugs Ally xx

Groundhog day here again, I only know it's Sunday because we woke up to Steve Wright on radio 2. It's still a bit overcast so don't think we'll be getting out in the garden. Roast chicken for dinner followed by vanilla blancmange with lemon and lime jelly for pud.

Hope you all have a good day, stay safe xx

Afternoon all, it’s a gorgeous day here and we have been sitting out on the terrace for most of the morning. Came in for lunch and just about to go out again. Later I want to take the car around the block, just to make sure it will start for me when I need it on Wednesday to go to a hospital appointment. We’ll go out for a walk in a while. I made one of those fold up masks using a bandana and two elastic bands, it works well.

Big hugs for Ally xxx

I didn't know masks were being worn by so many just yet. Easily fashioned though, as Osc says :)

Ally huge hugs....as I said somewhere else on here, firsts are always the worst and it does get a little easier to bear over time, even though it never goes away completely. It is 20 years this year since we lost my mam, and I think of her lots but not all the time (((((((((((((((((()))))))))))))))))

We went to the park with the dogs this morning, it's a short car journey but it was lovely then, dry at least if not sunny....then the sun got out and as I'd washed the towels, I hung them out and they were almost dry when the rain started! Now in the tumbler finishing off.

We've had a takeout Sunday lunch! It was really nice, the beef was sooooo tender!! It's our local café, the one we use sometimes for lunch out at work - pre-ordered and T went to collect it, we had it at 1pm, so nice! I baked a cake for tea this afternoon - just got to decorate it, it's only a Vicky sponge so shall use jam and shake some icing sugar over the top :)
