We’ve got all of the fireworks around here Crommers, that’s why!

They went on until gone 9 again last night

Same here Crommers. I was really expecting loads but it's been astoundingly quiet.

Jo, so sorry that you're having such a tough time with them and Bill - give him a gentle fuss from me; poor boy

Thanks Ria, we’ve had more tonight.
I think they went on sale around Oct 15th and it’s been more or less every night since then. There are so many comments on the local Next Door page about them.

Three nights without any and then they started again at 10pm last night. Wouldn’t think it’d be anything to do with Diwali as this is a predominantly white area.

I wouldn't bet against it Jo.

As with where you live there are only a few Indian (Hindu) families round here but boy do they like their fireworks! And, unlike bonfire night, they are allowed to let them off till 1 am. and they do and have! :o

We have had clear and dry(ish) nights which hasn't helped. Same again tonight.
