Afternoon all :)

It's cold and wet here! Supermarket shopping this morning, then home to do the cleaning. Having a cuppa now.

Saundra, I hope you get your card sorted - very inconvenient at this time of year :o xxx

Love to all xxx

Good afternoon everybody.
Went to see the nurse this korning to have my blood pressure checked. It is still high. Si I will now have to take another tablet and she will see me again
on 18th December. Then back home trying to find the suckers we use to attach the lights to the windows. They are in a big square green tin. But it has
gon AWOL. Have looked in every cupboard, in the loft and in the garage. So Have had to go and buy some new ones. Got the lights on timers which
are working correctly. Have posted two cards to USA. £2.50 for each card.
Talking of post have you all seen stamps are going up 9p in January 2021. We had a parcel pushed through our letter box at 8 10.a.m this morning and
another one this afternoon just after 3.00 p.m. Postman said they are delivering at any time they have so many parcels.
Have finished putting the lights up and other decorations. We bought a white Father Christmas many years ago. It is nearly 3ft tall. It was reduced
in a sale in January. Stands by one of the fireplaces. Never put our small crib away.

Must write our cards tomorrow..
Have a good evening everybody.

Evening all! :D My first day off of four this week - hugely needed after three consecutive clinic days!! It has been mad - although not many sales this week, as per in December. Our branch is still the busiest in regard to appointments though, none to be had for weeks and has been the same since we went back in July!

We've been put into Tier 3 and other than all shops being open, that's the only difference to full lockdown... cue me standing in a shop doorway with a takeout coffee this morning in the drizzle, all the benches and seats in the market place were wet....you can get takeouts but you can't sit inside the coffee shop  I had three big carriers with me by the time I stopped for a hot drink....and was en route to do more shopping. Of course there's ALWAYS a stop off in Tesco to use the toilet (I can pee for England) before I headed to Home Bargains, Lidl and The Range. When I got back I went into the loft to get the majority of the decs down, and up to now we have a garland on the mantelpiece and a few sparkly bits on the hearth. I'll get the tree and baubles down over the next few days and put the rest up. I got my first Christmas card today. So I'll need to write some out....was hoping not to get any, tbh, I rarely put them up now.

It is my little nephew's 50th birthday today!!! How did that happen!!!???

We have rain forecast for the next few days, with maybe some sleet....no walking this Friday methinks!! :D

Have a lovely evening all xxx
