Nice and dry here.

Glad you got Mrs.E to the CT without too much trouble Cruiser. She really does sound very poorly, do you have an idea of what the problem is or must you wait for the CT results? I hope the nurse turns up as promised and helps make sure you get all the help you need xx

Oh dear Crommers, what a difficult time for you all xx

I would have post earlier, but the phone hasn't stopped. The RNOH twice then Boots to arrange delivery of our meds. The first call was expected, a lady from the pre-assessment team to go through the usual questionnaire. She said E's tests were all good except one of the bloods (they did 7) it shows a high infection marker. She said it doesn't definitely mean there's a problem it does happen, they might want another blood test but all the others were good including his white cells. She was going to e-mail the result to Mr.P and the anaesthetist and ring back if it's likely to cause a delay, she said not to worry, no news from her means good news. About 30mins after when the phone went again we both thought 'oh no' but it was the physiotherapy dept wanting to discuss post op. She sent through a form to be filled in with various furniture measurements, that's done and been sent back. We're feeling a bit in limbo and I'm sure we'll both jump out of our skins every time the phone goes for the next few days!!

Not much else happening, expecting a delivery from Tesco later and that's about it.

Good afternoon.
The sun is out and I should be out gardening.
Two nurses came this morning. Said there was nothing wrong with mrs'e's temperature or blood pressure. They changed the bed sheets and nickers and put a pad under her.
They are coming back with more pads this afternoon and other equipment. They are going to contact the doctor as they are not happy with her condition.
She is still not eating. I can't force her to open her mouth.
The nurses said they will arrange for someone to come in at least twice a day to wash mrs.e and change the bedding if necessary..
So I am getting some help at last.

Cruiser that sounds like a good number of decent steps in the right direction. Hopefully the medical people will now sit up and take notice and try figure out what is wrong with Mrs E. You must be so relieved to finally be getting this help x

Afternoon all, it’s a lovely mild and sunny one after a wet start to the day.

This morning was spent washing and cleaning, we walked Bill in the drizzle first thing just before the rain got heavier. After lunch I went for a run along to A34 to where the footpath runs out by the island on the way to Stafford and then back. I could feel the warm sun on my back as it’s uphill on the way. I was glad when I turned around to come home

Oh Cruiser I am so glad you are getting help at last!! Look after yourself as well, it can be very draining caring for someone xx

That's a difficult situation Crommers, on the one hand, good that he has rallied, but bad that it may only be temporary. Vibes for you all xx

My last day of incarceration - and then back to work tomorrow!!! I'm not sure if that's a good thing or not - last time I was there (on Feb 3rd!!) I had a devil of a day and had a few tears when I got home, not least because of Tom being 'pinged' by T&T. Anyhooo....

I had a nice lay in this morning, finished my book in bed with my porridge and cuppa....then when I got going I stripped the seat covers off the sofa and chair to wash, they're still drying so can't put them back on yet. NHS rang me at 08.10am to see how I was, and remind me that I can return to normal after midnight tonight, providing I don't have a runny nose/sneezing, no diarrheoa or vomiting.

It started out wet, but the sun came out and it's gorgeous now.

It's a much nicer day here today, very springlike! Unfortunately B seems to have eaten something that disagrees with her, as she's been vomiting since yesterday. Luckily we had some Dioralyte in, and she's taking that. Hoping it isn't a bug, luckily so far M and I are fine. I've been to see D, and got home in time to watch Boris addressing Parliament on BBC News. The thought of getting back to normal is wonderful, but I am concerned that March 8th is too soon for the schools going back........
